Is slugging reportable?

So I just got out of a game as survivor and the killer slugged who was left (three people) and then just slowly let them die out holding the game hostage as some say. I have also heard that doesn't count because you eventually die out and the game ends? But how is this not some form of griefing? Like laying on the ground isnt a fast death. I didn't do a report, but I saw people arguing about it after the match.

It's not reportable. What is reportable is if a killer or a survivor is bodyblocking you to prevent you from playing the game

Why is that even allowed? I don't see the game play part in that, like they seriously dont take that into consideration as griefing? I find one of the biggest issues with DBD is that the devs/mods dont seem to give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about the toxicity issues in this game. Others do report systems well, but this game has always seemed to be lacking heavily in that department. Curious if they ever stated why as to how that isnt reportable in the least, couldnt find any statements from them on the why.

I did answer your question: as I said, it's not reportable, which means it's not griefing, that would be against the rules and reportable.

There are situations where slugging is a valid way to pressure the Survivors, of course bleeding out people for no reason is not a nice move, however it's not something that breaks the rules and it's not considered griefing.

In the report fill on BHVR site you have the option to report for slugging, i believe is reportable

Sorry I judged your response too harshly, I honestly thought you just read about the slugging and that was it. I just more so wanted to know why this was a choice of theirs, knowing it isnt reportable.

Slugging is not reportable. Right now in my opinion its one of the best way to play with all the nerf to the gen regression perk we just had and continue to get. As a bonus when you slug, survivor lose all their unhook perk and they lose basekit BT and the only perk you need to be careful are UB.

I don't mind slugging and camping if thats how the killer feels they need to win, I find it boring as hell against with a survivor but I understand some people just cant play otherwise. But this was just a killer playing because he was salty about how fast gens were done (atleast I assume from their comments) At this point you are angry and just making the game drag on for everyone else despite having the win in the bag at that point with all down. I guess my concern is the laziness on the mods because they dont want to look into individual cases they just want to say "slugging is fine no matter what", which speaks volumes. But I also kind of know from and inside perspective from a friend that they hire with min. pay to just get by for this game, so they probably just dont have many moderators to do a task as that.

Holding a game hostage is when the game cannot progress forward. A dieing survivor believe it or not is progressing the game the approximate bleed out time for a survivor is 4 minutes.

The best way to combat that is to literally just walk away from the controller or keyboard and do something else.

In the end, the killer will be left alone literally wasting their time because they have no one to bully. and you WILL win this match up because you have 4min of guaranteed exp. (you can get tunneled out way faster)
- only thing you lose is BP and we all know how valuable that is

I think those case are a minority and the only reason the bhvr dont work in those case is because its a waste of money.
