Any pointers on dodging Nemesis whip?
I'm having a tough time against his whip, when I run through pallets I try baiting going to one side then 180'ing to the other side like I would with the Huntress for example, but his whip ALWAYS hits for some reason. Does anyone have any advice on how to dodge it? Thanks in advance!

If its a good nemmi then no. They have mastered sliding the whip across the entire map. nothing escapes it. And when it does miss you, it actually didn't.

On a srs note: Treat him like an Oni, dont wait for him to get close before running. Predrop to stop T2 whip. If the entire team does this then its a rough game for nemesis.

Don't bait pallets. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVE it when a surv hangs around a pallet. Free hit. When they ignore it and carry on running, weaving through geometry etc is when it gets tricky. You'll find most nemis will slow down when you go through a pallet in anticipation of the bait+free hit.

Bait the drop during looping and keep going. Unless he is T3 you'll get enough distance for another loop. When going to windows/pallets dodge last second to the side and never took windows if he is close enough to hit you. This wont work against experienced Nemesis but even they can get caught off guard if they don't know your skill level. Also important tip, always duck when he is trying to hit you over obstacles, uncluding windows.

Force the Nemesis to M1 by hugging loops tightly and just holding W. You can usually tell what kind of player the Nemesis is on your first loop. If you hear the noodle wind up as you get close to a pallet you know that you can safely keep running around the loop to waste time rather than pre-drop. If they don't use their noodle very much then that is when you can start to pre-drop pallets to avoid getting M1ed too much.

Your tip only work in high wall loop. If its any other loop he will just hit you over the loop.

A lot of low walls cannot be whipped through even though it looks like he should be able to. The Autohaven and MacMillan "wire spool" loops come to mind.

There no good pointer for the dodge. You need to know what type of player he is some nemesis play him like a PH so the will whip you when you are lock in animation. Other nemesis will try to hit you over small wall in those scenario crouch just like you do against a huntress. If you are running in the middle of nowhere some nemesis will go for a whip those are the risky whip just zig zag for 1 or 2 sec and he will hesitate.

If Nemesis has a straight shot at you and he's any decent with his tentacle whip, he'll likely hit you with it. The tentacle has a pretty decent-sized hitbox and can "slide" sideways a little bit for about half a second after the attack has already "landed". The only way to get around a straight shot is to do what you're already doing, which is to try to bait and also wiggle left and right if you can help it when you know the whip is about to hit.

There's no real guarantee to avoid it, it basically boils down to wiggle room + amount of wiggling from either of you + luck.
