Disconnected from host

I saw my friends play dbd normally and i keep getting disconected from host pop up when im loaded into a lobby. When every player is on on lobby and the time goes down. What can i do to fix it? I have good connection and i just installed game
I played 2 games normally and this problem started

Got it twice in different days, I don't know were this error come from and if you can do something about it.

I have the same problem I installed the game couple of days ago and I could've played one game but after that everything went totally wrong, epic and playstation worked fine for me so this is definitely steam related and also to people who just bought it.
I hope they could fix this problem ( and yes my connection is good ).

this ♥♥♥♥ keeps happening to me whenever im looping the killer or doing an generator, its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying

Just want to add to the rest of you that this happened to me the other day as well, and I also saw it happen to multiple other people during the same gameplay session (including incidents that were clearly not intentional, such as the killer disconnecting just when he was about to win).

RESTART THE GAME if you get disconnected , (or better just close and open again steam )

could be your friend's connection maybe.
I would get it rarely when I play dbd.
