Survivors and devs are are disingenuous about visual terror radius.
If it was really about "accessibility", they would make generator repair sounds, foot steps and Survivor breathing visual as well. But this concern for people with difficulty hearing only extends to one role, one side;, the side the developers always favor. And their solution just happens to offer a blanket advantage to everyone on that side, regardless of ability.

Because even if you have perfect hearing, the visual heartbeat, like Spine Chill, gives you an early warning when normally, a very faint audio heart beat would be covered up by the sound of you own repairing and ambient distractions like fire barrels.

This is why suddenly, everyone is running this accessibility feature. And I can see they are on nearly every stream.

Visual Terror Radius wasn't really about accessibility. It was about making Spine Chill basekit and giving survivors another unearned advantage and screwing over killers. It was about freeing up a perk slot for anyone who would have run Spine Chill and tilting the balance in favor or Survivor and doing it in an underhanded way that uses disabled players as a shield to deflect scrutiny.

So get mad at me if you want for pointing out the lie. You're cheating as far as I'm concerned, facilitated and protected by crooked referees.

Spine Chill activated when killers was looking direcly at you. It's a small diffrence but I get your point.

To be clear:

I want there to be accessibility features in the game.

I want them to be applied FAIRLY to BOTH roles.

I don't want them making one side more powerful or giving an advantage to people who are not disabled.

I want survivors and the developers to be honest about the actual impact of this feature, re: the above.

I want the developers to stop playing favorites and being biased.
I don’t think it would be unreasonable to suspect a future update that lets killers see a visual progress indicator when near generators. These things take time.

Everything in this game caters to survivors. There's also nothing even remotely horror in this game anymore in terms of game-play, since the survivors are way stronger than the killer. Imagine a horror movie in which the "victims" beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of the villain, it wouldn't be a horror movie anymore, it would be a comedy. Well that's what this game is, a comedy survivor game, in which a group of 4 survivors drops 2432 pallets on the killer's head and one of them loops him for hours while the other survivors have info about which one is getting chased.

They massacred this game by allowing swf teams and making this dumb HUD that gives valuable information about what your teammates are doing and if they're getting chased.

The state of the game is pathetic, imagine being a survivor, you're on a gen, if any other survivor is being chased you will see it on the HUD, you can stay on the gen, if there's no other survivor chased but you see no visual terror radius, you're still on the gen, if you see the visual terror radius you run or hide, and constantly do this ♥♥♥♥. Like how much more do they need their hand to be held ?

And they just love to bring out those stats about 60% kill rate ERMAGHERD. It's not 60% because the killers constantly get that, it's 60% because the killer will be matched with either pleb survivors either god survivors, one game they'll get a 4k, the other will barely scrap 1 kill. That kill rate doesn't have anything to do with game balance, it only has to do with matchmaking

it's really not deep, for the first time after quite some time, I think that game has achieved a kind of decent balance state.
The audio in this game is bad and bugged specially the terror radius and heart beat.
Kilers have pools of blood if you can't hear them injuried.
You can see the red marks in the ground if you don' listen to the foot steps.
You can see the gens moving even at distance.
Survivers don't have a substitute for sounds but killers have many.
Spinechill was nerfed and it was one of the best perks because of the bonus speed, the perks only worked if the killer looked at your direction but it was changed because many use it as a replacement for the bad terror radius.

Yes, let me just break my neck staring at the floor.

Especially with the OBNOXIOUSLY loud chase music that prevents you from hearing practically 50% of what's going on around you, even when killers are so reliant on audio.

Also, scratch marks are one of the most inconsistent things in the game. Im sure many killer players can agree.

Scratch marks can random spread left around a doorway, disappear for a meter and end up with the survivor actually turning right.

Scratch marks can appear on walls, and walls alone, when they should be on the ground when the survivor hugs tight enough.

Scratch marks disappear due to similar inconsistencies mid-run. You can chase a survivor holding W, and you will still see gaps between the marks that make huge differences when turning corners.

And personally, ive even seen scratch marks on the ceiling before in RPD, so you do the math.

Following blood isnt an alternative, blood has intervals.

You cant always see gens moving due to walls. You can aura read generator progress if you REALLY focus on the aura and are close enough, but even that has its inconsistencies.

Terror radiuses arent bugged. In fact, they are one of the only super-solid things in the game.

When it comes to this company trying to do anything in particular. . . I apologize - I truly sincerely think they just aren't that smart and aren't that friendly at times!

Some of the dudes/dudettes I'm sure are pretty chill there but - my point is I think that you're seeking meaning in something that has none.

These guys never do anything right I hate to be rude but... Think about the Pinhead NFT thing, Twins' release state, the lack of colorblind for like 5 years, whatever the hell was going on with Bubba's facemasks awhile back...

They don't seem to have forethought. Nor are they very concerned with making the game more accessible. I'm sorry! I do hope they add more stuff to help players that need it though. Games are awesome and I can't imagine how much it sucks to try and play something really cool but be hampered, just to have the devs go "oh shut up already we'll do it if we feel like it"
