The fact that lots of killer camp and tunnel these days is pathetic
Like I love to play good survivors and this game is not that hard
This game still has bs that can be abused but come on
What they could do is similar to Pig's reversed bear trap, pause the infection when you're in a chase. This could be exploited still ofcourse, but it will take much more time get fully infected in case the killer decides to chase you for it.
However this I would have it applied while you're just unhooked for some time like 60-80 seconds. Because in regular chases this effect is kinda way to catch up survivors at some point, otherwise Wesker becomes too weak >.<
I doubt the devs will change something about it, unless they re-work the hindered status effect in a way that the slowdown is not applied for some time after being unhooked.
Aside from everything else, Wesker is pretty much balanced already :>
Are you saying that Wesker players stay in chase for 100 seconds for you to get fully infected? You're being ridiculous.
And lets say they are. GOOD! It gives your team AT LEAST one generator worth of progress.
And to add another point, there are 6 chests in the realm. Each spray has 2 uses.
It means Wesker would need to infect healthy survivors 12 times in total for it to be permanent. And considering most of the time that you use your power on the same survivor, thats already 12 hook stages, and a game end. And thats assuming he ONLY downs people with his power.
"Just wait a few seconds for you to lose speed." Is a ridiculous statement.
He has two addons that makes the infection faster. One is active, the other is passive.
If you get hit by a Wesker using both, even then it takes around 70 seconds to get fully infected.
If Weskers chased people until they were fully infected, they would never win.
