Survivors sharing flashbangs?

Is this a thing? Just got done with a match as killer against a swf where every survivor was using flashbangs and only one person brought the perk and none brought any item form flashbangs. Either the one surv who brought in flashbang was somehow able to use them even while hooked or he was sharing them with the others.

I got headon and flashbanged in the same frame once, I have no idea if you can drop the items and share them, but if it happened recently some games have been weird some survivors seem to have perks that do not appear.

You can drop flashbangs like regular items for other people to pick up and use.

So flashbang is now a super OP perk since you can easily craft them and now share with every survivor due to item inventory change, good to know. Wasn't sure if it was a bug/exploit which is why I asked. Thanks for answering :)

You could always share flashbangs, but yeah the special item slot makes the perk almost worth bringing now.
Don't be fooled by how oppressive flashbangs feel at first, once you get how they are used and learn to recognise the sound you should be able to avoid getting flashbanged outside of being animation locked; the same as with flashlights.
