Why'd the Devs add a perk where you run faster for playing poorly?

Coupled with WGTLF it'll make some amazing saves

A band-aid that barely triggers, I need to try and test what are the conditions to trigger bloodlust cause the chase alone can't be it.

Let's check the wiki. "Bloodlust increases the Killer's Walking speed during prolonged Chases to make it easier to catch up in long loops and close the distance more effectively."
Continuing to read tells you that it's 15 seconds of chasing will get +5% move speed, 25 seconds is +10%, and 35 seconds is +15%.
"Gaining Bloodlust: Bloodlust is being built-up whenever a Killer chases a Survivor for a certain amount of time without interrupting the Chase.
Losing Line-of-Sight of a Survivor or if they are gaining enough distance from the Killer will result in a swift decrease of Bloodlust.
Losing Bloodlust
You lose all Bloodlust when performing the following interactions:

Hitting a Survivor.
Breaking a Pallet.
Bloodlust does not apply under the following conditions or will reset completely:

Killers using their Power.
Survivors walking or crouching will also prevent Bloodlust building up."

If we want the game to be fun, we need to make the weak killers/perks stronger so that both sides feel like they have a fighting chance.
I don't think buffing ML until it's also giga busted is the solution. I still think it's hilarious that dark theory gives you less for working far harder. Guess they figured that with nobody using DT it would be fine.

Why hex tho? Make it perma buff like survivors always get.

Killers being rewarded for playing poorly has been a staple in dbd since 2016. Started with Noed and various forms of it (Used be perma at endgame with no totem) To giving free kills for one down with a mori which meant a lucky down or high ping hit resulted in a kill. Then there was bloodlust which is the ultimate crutch in any MP game ever, basically get extra movespeed for holding W and not knowing how to anti loop.. (Still in the game :steamhappy:)
Then you have the dedicated servers themselves which reward killers for having a bad connection and abusing vpns having it killer client hit validation ( Again still there in 2023)
And even things such as RNG where a bad nemesis player could have a zombie randomly spawn out of LOS in a choke point and block the survivor resulting in an undeserved down.
No wonder so many OG players left the game.

id be up for that. cause the animation from ML and the sound (if the survivors also hear and see the animation) seems to discourage Gen-tunneling and because you can only comprise one gen at a time theres already a counter for it, work on a different gen
Yeah it's such a dumb mechanic, just combine it with hope and it's such a pain to catch a good survivor. I swear BHVR just wants to remove M1 killers at this point

Bloodlust is literally a built-in feature for killer... The killer role is king of hand holding gameplay that's one of the reasons why I never got too into it.

I love how you list all the crutches killers have but ignore everything the survivors got in that time.
-Infinite loops pre bloodlust
-Decisive strike
-Mettle of man
-Old Dead Hard
-Exhaustion not being a thing so said perks would regen MID CHASE
-Perma hook sabotage leading to iron grasp + agitation being must builds for a while
-Pallet vacuum

The game is bizarrely killer sided, but not in the way you think. Anyone who has played this game more than 2 hours knows the the root of every problem can be reduced to one thing, survive with friends. Most of the changes have been towards making the game manageable for killers but it just makes things worse for killers and solo players. I look specifically to nerfs with healing, decisive strike, mettle of man, and plenty of others but those really stick out. When you have 2,3,4 people giving each other unearned information during a match, it's never going to be different.

NOED the perk where you only play with three perks until the end of the game. And if the Survivors allow it, you get to be a little stronger until they cleanse it. Because once it goes live everyone can see the totem?

Using NOED does not by any means allow unskilled players to win. Maybe if they had taken a 4th perk that was active the entire game, then the end game might not have even happened.

I'm so tired of Survivors complaining about NOED, it has been nerfed and nerfed and nerfed, yet you still complain about it, it is time for you to start and look at yourself, if it is still claiming you.

I say bring back the original MEMENTO MORI, found, downed, and dead out of the game. There you have something to complain about, but NOED ...... GIVE ME A BREAK.

I don’t run NOED 99% of the time, since I know I can win earlier by using an extra perk. The earliest OP version might’ve been worth using, but this one doesn’t even guarantee anything. :lunar2019deadpanpig:
