Clown? Weak??

I'm used to hearing how weak Clown was, even now still despite so many changes to killers in recent years, but I've been committing to him more recently, even past the usual threshold when survivors become insufferable, and I'm having a blast! Definitely can't say that about the majority of other killers I've been playing. His ability to slow down survivors midchase is such a godsend and has made him feel so fun, lol ;). I'm sure as soon as I make this post, I'm going to face Seal Team 4 next match, but what do you guys and gals think??

Clown is fine they just need to remove the stupid haze I dc or purposely die on hook if I get him because I can't take the migraine from it

I understand. As survivor, his haze really is rough on the eyes and my patience. Ngl, as survivor, a good clown is one of my most hated killers to play against, only 2nd to Legion. I hate being on the receiving end of Clown, but it's been so refreshingly fun being on the giving end, lol, especially based on my recent encounters playing as other killers.

Hes very simple I mained him for quite a long time and tbh you really need to be as unpredictable as possible with his bottles to either force survivors to go into the gas or to run in the opposite direction of it. I also see alot of clown players not using his yellow bottles at all which is understandable but his yellow bottles are very useful when used properly you just need to throw it far enough so that you pass threw it and the survivors won't there are many gimmicks to the Clown but overall hes a solid B if you know how to play him correctly and have a good build (This practically goes for 80% of all killers)

Ah the 'I'll pretend a very weak killer is strong to trick people into playing them more' tactic. I wonder how many will fall for it?

The only reason the Clown works more often than not is because survivors are so unfamiliar with playing against one.

He can get pallets down more quickly than other killers and potentially forces less loops at tiles + medim vaults but that's about it.
And that's not enough.

i was thinking he is weak but now i think he is decent enough and stbfl feels stronger than ever with him

He's not Doc or Trickster weak, but he sure is on the lower tier.

He's nowhere near Nurse, Blight, Huntress or even Bubba and Hag.

I would put him in the same tier as Demo.

But I like his style. This game needs more creepy, disturbing serial killers.

His lore is good too.

I love Clown, he's probably my most played killer. Everyone expects him to be useless so 90% of the time I'm getting 4ks with him. I know mechanically he's not as strong as the other killers but he's so much fun.

STBFL and Dissolution are kinda busted on him. Slow survivors down, catch up fast, and now they’re stuck at a weak loop or in a dead zone.

And who doesn’t enjoy his belly laugh? An absolute weirdo, but that’s why we love him.

I think Clown gets a bit too much ♥♥♥♥ for being weak, he isn't that bad, actually pretty oppressive in chase. One Good yellow and Pink bottle can pretty much shut down most loops. STBFL is deadly on him, quickly recover from an attack, speed yourself up with a yellow bottle and slow down the survivor with a pink bottle. You'll catch up to them stupid fast. Dissolution is strong on him, shuts down the early pallet drop counter to him.
His chase is slightly above average, but Clown is just bad at everything else.
