Fixing exploits =/= appeasing whiners. Cenobite's interaction with Franklin's Demise and Hoarder as well as his ability to maintain bloodlust through teleport were pure exploits.

but it wasn't nerfed because "twitter"/survivor/president asked for it, since the ptb had already put in the news that special killer items would change, since survivors can now carry the killer item while carrying the normal item.

The associations that people make on the forums, especially here on Steam, are what scare me, the true echo chamber

Incredible he was the only killer in the game who use hoarder, now this perk is complete garbage, for cost of perk slot on killer survivors get+2 chests in match, nice pay off, totally in killer favor

Not that I think the change was necessary (but I don't know how they would otherwise modify with killer items being special), but the hoarder perk design is not so bad, 2 more chests are created exactly to make the survivor lose time in the match and make the perk proc.I just think they could give a specific rework to make the quality of the items that come out of the chests beeing lower (bronze/yellow).

Great, they ruined it. I don't even know why they'd do that, it's not like it was overpowered or anything, it was literally just a nice perk to have. Time to never ever see hoarder being used again

It would have also worked well with singularity as counterplay to EMPs but I guess devs just want to make killers use nurse and blight with meta perks and no other builds/killers

Well they nerfed the ability to jump in a locker to reset the box when a cenobite is camping the box waiting to down anyone that tries to get it.
