Have not played in a while... is it more killer or survivor favored?

Just wondering! I loved playing killer but wasn't too good at it. I got to the point where people could pop gens pretty fast and was wondering how the game was these days.

I've played for the last 5 years, approximately, off and on, and I'd say survs are stronger, but like 60% of the solo queue surv population doesn't actually try to win.

If you had fun before, I would suggest not worrying too much about it and just coming along and enjoying yourself 'cos you clearly know how to if you enjoyed yourself before.

depends what kind of survivors we are talking about. If we are talking about competitive and SWF survivors who tend to focus on gens vs. competitive killers, then it's survivor sided. Other ways it's basically in favor of killer when at least one survivor throws the game early against the killer and ends up killed so early.
The thing this game is least sided to atm is fun, because you are literally forced to play only and only around gens above anything else. Better gen related build wins.

My matches are usually:

3 gen by Skull Merchant.
hook camp by Knight.
Nurse/Blight.

So it depends on the killer.

When I play killer suddenly everyone is master loopers who safely unhook each other & body block hooks. It feels like when I play killer all DBD survivor mains decide to actually be good at the game with the intent of screwing me over.

When I play survivor I get people who are afk, crouch in the corner of the map until the end of the round, lead the killer over to me every time a generators almost done, and they only decide to unhook eachother when we reach the second dying state.

Depends on who's playing, an experienced killer vs a mid team the killer has it. If were talking about any type a killer vs a comp swf or full p100 team there is nothing any kind of veteran killer can do.

Depends on the MMR on my oppinion:
low MMR=Killer sided
high MMR=Survivor sided
middle MMR=mixed

It largely depends on your MMR and whether or not the killer is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

If a killer is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and tunnels/camps, then it is killer sided.
If never camps or tunnels, then in low MMR it's killer sided, and mid MMR is survivor sided, and high MMR is extremely survivor sided. Presuming the killer and survivors are equally skilled.

Nurse/Blight matches are always killer sided in low to mid MMR, and slightly killer-sided in high MMR too.

It depends on the quality of players. Let's assume you play against a coordinated competent Survivor team. If you're on weaker Killer it's gonna be harder, and vice versa.
