How do you counter sabotage spam?
New player, trying the Hillbilly for the first time. Faced a team who stayed in a pack, and whenever I downed one of them, the other would sabotage the nearest hook. What's the counter to that?

when that happens, i usualy drop the person im carrying and start chasing the rest, no one's doing gens and they'll just try to pick up the downed person, rinse and repeat until they bleed out or mess up and you start hooking, either way it's gonna take a while

How do you drop a Survivor?
You can also run perks that aid in the whole transporting/slaughter. Agitation, Starstruck, Iron grasp, stuff like that.

The best counter to that would be to DC.
Team counter is switch card. They expect you to go after player X. When you go after player Y. it creaTES TEAM CAOS. WHY IS EVERYONE SCREAMING ON THE MICS???? WHY?? WHY?? WHY???
Watch a SWF on Discord. The best strategy is to make them start yelling incoherently in confusion on team chat.

One of my favorite builds, Agitation/Starstruck/Awakened Awareness/Jolt

It's hilarious how many times I catch someone hiding around a corner to unhook with that.
Thanks for the explanation, guys. I ended up ragequitting the match (playing Hillbilly for the first time didn't exactly put me in a mood to put up with cheese), but I knew there was a way to counter it; I'm just not good enough yet.

Next time someone does that, I'll be ready. Drop the dude I'm holding and smack them, or else camp the downed guy until the hook respawns; if they intend to make my game miserable, I'll retaliate in kind.

I don't even pick them up I bluff a grab and start swatting the flies. I prefer to hook the second one down so they have to waste more time saving the first. Especially with Billy.

Try the standing still charge, and learn how to fake a choke out for a chase one hit. Both are extremely good Vs aggressive counters.

You can try and eventually get them in the basement, those hooks cant be sabo'd.

I see you've fallen prey to the cycle of hatred! Every Killer ends up there sooner or later lol. If you find yourself going against sabo-squads regularly I'd suggest running a slug build, it's the best option if you want to make their gameplay as miserable as possible. Try using Knock Out, Franklin's Demise, Infectious Fright and Deerstalker for perks; each player has a four minute bleedout timer and with this build you can easily keep them down for a long time while simultaneously wasting their toolboxes.

Back in the before times, hooks did not repair themselves after being sabotaged. Survivors could sabo every hook on the map except basement.

:theskull:

At least they do that now.

Knockout is such a cruel perk to use, good way to make survivors truly hate you.

If the whole team is not doing gens and are trying their everything to unhook/prevent hooking, do you know what that means? Altruism is the strongest killer in the game.

Try to head for the basement, if possible. They cannot sabotage basement hooks and the place is a death trap. I accidentally got a 4k just like that without even a proper build for it. Focus on downing people first, hooking later. Even if they manage to recover, it will give you a good amount of time to hook.

just keep hitting them they will leave eventually, it doesn't happen often so its not something you will probably see again for a while

don't beat yourself up about it too much, billy is tough to pick up and master, it can be even more annoying when facing SWFs, and you're in your early killer stages from what i can see, plenty of time to learn to deal with these situations without resorting to fighting fire with fire :D
