AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ?
The guy from Stranger Things got hooked and I swear he screamed for 10 seconds lol
When you're using ♥♥♥♥ hardware, expect the product to not be as intended, The real mental gymnastics is how the game developers should adapt the game to people wanting to hear footsteps while having said bad hardware, there's no issue with the audio mixing when it comes to screams.
Hopefully your headset has sound equalization settings. If not, and you're sensitivive to sounds, you might want to invest in one. Just increasing the quality of the sound might solve your headaches, but if not you can dial down the high frequency stuff a little.
More sound options would always be nice. I guess there's a small advantage to killers turning the screams off (easier to hear pain sounds near to the hook) but it's pretty marginal stuff and not really worth bothering about.
How do I know if my headset has equalization settings? and I'm really layman about those things, what's equalization? I know it's about lowing some sounds and increasing some that are already too low, Like you said screams/walk sounds. and what did you mean here? "but if not you can dial down the high frequency stuff a little."
Until this procedure is done some proper way, some frequencies and sounds may sound louder or quieter than others, some sounds may cause headache and tinnitus (like high pitched screams).
