You don't really play a killer, more of a joke to be ran around for a bit.
I agree the looping isn't really fun to deal with on an m1 killer even when I am winning. Basically you have to play a killer that has some ability to even the score, like huntress, blight, nurse... Even Nemesis is better at it than your average killer.
That's why I use Spirit Fury and Enduring
Throw in Brutal Strength and you eat them pallets like breakfast
Learn new ways to beat loops (Not a jab at your skill just saying)
Nothing more satisfying than outplaying someone
Basically just remove looping.
But seriously, unless you have a suggestion on how to "fix/improve" the chase sequence, that might be more constructive.
The best I can say is using a killer that helps against loops, like Dredge.
Nobody plays the big bad killer role just to run in a circle for several minutes every game.
It's literally "Run-In-A-Circle-Simulator 2023"
But in all fairness- it's the most survivors can really do to protect themselves. Best way to make it fun as the killer role is try to mind game them.
I was asking about how to improve chase interactions. "Remove them" is not a valid answer.
Horror has diminidhing returns, if you watch a scary movie a dozen times it gets less scary each time. Same with this game.
Playing against as stealthy team is the most boring while playing killer. It'll be just wandering around the map not chasing survivors while gens pop left and right.
It would also require the removal of aura reading and similar tracking perks et.al.
I don't really care if you don't find the game scary or not, being looped is not exciting gameplay for either side.
I play voth and have to strongly disagree. Chase interactions are the most fun to have in this game, and looping is pretty much the only chase interaction.
And that'S what the game'S bveen balanced around for years now. You can't just remove that. That would require a massive rework of killers and maps again.
A god window is too strong for looping but makes a lot of sense for a game that's heavily stealth focused for example. It's there to give suirvivors a lot of distance to have a chance of losing the killer and hiding again.
We'd need to revert a lot of map changes.
And possibly make everything darker again.
Having a lot of aura reading/tracking perks makes sense while looping is the core gameplay which is balanced against gen speeds.
Those need removinbg or major reworks is stealth is survivors only option.
Stealth needs buffing then.
I do play a lot of killer myself and the nmost boring matches are the opnes againstpeople hiding all the time and blitziong gens.
That experience is just miserable and I don't understand why anyone would want that to be the core gameplay loop.
Bubba with Spirit Fury is also pretty nice; with him, you have to deal with the dumb running in circles, but at least you can 1-hit down and break pallets quickly.
