Why is tombstone mayers still a thing?

It's one of the most broken unbalanced unfair things I've ever seen in this game and yet it's still going 7 years later? why?

Because part of the community is quite loud in saying that most of the "m1" killers are weak, but do not take into account even the addons in tier-list, only the "base-kit", and throw the responsibility for being a "You problem", even when you have no control over things like your mates.

Tbf yes it does take out a player out of the game within a second but you should have already finished 3 gens and a half.

SWF or not you can tell if Myers has tombstone , it barely works and often times it works so well that Myers get 4k thats beacuse survivors couldn't finish gens fast enough.

And the reason why its a thing is most likely beacuse of his lore , him doing his own thing and kill survivors at will something like that.

Is it OP? Yes but you loose only one person or at worst two.

I actually really like tombstone myers, but it is a common topic that it's unfair/shouldn't be in the game at all.

I think I like tombstone simply cos most players know to play around tombstone and it's funny to play chicken. Also, every killer is broken af around more inexperienced survivors. If you're a regular player with an average amount of experience you shouldn't have much trouble against tombstone myers. Remember where lockers are and if needed jump in.

It's basically the only unique thing he has at this point and it's a fun artifact from the old DBD balance era.

when the gens only had 60 charges, I would even say that it was a viable scenario, buts everal things in the game was never revised , even the hook states

Purple tombstone is pretty strong against SWF too. Yesterday I played 13 games with my team and killers got a total of 3 kills. 2 of them were purple tombstone (and last was unfortunate noed trapper).

I'm quiet impressed by the replies tbh, I expected all replies to be like "Get gud" "You suck" "Don't get caught" but wanted to vent anyway...
I'm happy to see that there is an elevation in intelligence and compassion in the player base.
I really really am, I hope it'll continue to be like this.

Indeed, myers have a quite high kill rate, but the people have this preconceived idea that he's quite weak.

I mean you're kinda loud about killers addons, perks, powers, strategies, and wanting to force killers to chase nonstop instead of finding and using different methods of winning, cause to you find anything outside of chases unfun. Also you dont need control over your teammates, sounds like you want A.I. teammates which doesnt sound fun

it's not me, it's what the community thinks, with the same complaints about the same bad designs that deviates from chases on both sides. Loud is trying to keep harass people and disqualify complaints without arguments.

And context my friend, when I said about control over mates, I was specifically referring to myers' power to stalk people in the first few minutes of the game and eliminate someone with the addon the poor soul was caught by surprise in SoloQ. Very engaging for a pvp game.


Ps: bots will be a reality in 1 week in survivor role, let's see what people think about it, specially killers.

the only killers with "op" addons are blight and spirit (which she got nerfed). now move on

its what you think too, you have posted and comment those very things. you call anything the killer does that inconveniences the survivors "bad game design". Thats how his power works and why you shouldnt assume you're going up against a non-stealth killer, you know head on a swivel. Ah yes survivors bots. cause lets punish the killer cause you rather D/C (which you'll still get the penalty for btw) because you dont like the killer, addons, perks, or simply got outplayed.
