Also old DBD wasn't that great :

Old Moris, insta gen repair brand new parts, hatch standoffs is not something that most people miss (hopefully) . I personally started to play the game again around 2022 from 2017 beacuse it generally got better ,most streamers and players agree that the best balance we had is around now
weak argument sir!
as main survivor i love to get tunneled or to get facecamped. <3
because this way the killer gonna lose the game. unless the other survivors are not making gens. and because of the survivors some killer will still do this. so yeah you will blame me. but this is the truth, and everybody should start enjoying this as survivor :)
and ppl who do this straight up to ♥♥♥♥ up people will lose interest. it already has begun :( and it makes me sad if the killer is that stupid and ignores a injured survivor right in front of him. in my eys as main survivor its a bad killer.
as well there are many survivors still unhooking right in front of the killer or running into the killer after they where unhooked. later they call the killer a tunneler.
or 3 ppl are already there for the unhook and call him a camper :)
you can turn the coin as long as you want. its a survivor issue. not a killer issue
The first was when they reworked the animations of the survivors, and with that they removed the fog from the game, which changed the dynamics of the game a lot, apart from the animations themselves that were not well received
The second was the removal of ST chapter with the hawkins map, one of the best indoor maps in the game for those who like this style in both roles
The third was the beginning of shake-up metas in the dumbest way possible, the devs simply looked at the stats and concluded that perks being heavily used is synonymous with something OP or even meta, which led to unnecessary nerfs to perks for both as roles, which hasn't changed the fact that even today self-care is one of the most used perks (by nighlight) simply because it covers a hole around SoloQ which is the lack of coordination, and also with that shake-up, stealh that had already been killed with the removal of fog, it pretty much died with nerfs to iron will, spine chill, and other perks that weren't just chase-oriented. And then today we have 9999 aura reading perks, few that hide the aura (and that could be used in so many buffs in non-meta perks in right direction for future shake-up metas)
Everything they do to survivor is to balance around low MMR solo queue. It's just the general survivor player base is really bad. SWFs are already insanely op if they abuse everything BHVR did to balance solo q. It only gets worse the more basekit perks and changes they make.
I win most of my games. Most of the people I play are closer to 2,000-5,000 hour players rather than 500 hour players.
My game start plan is tunnel at 5 gens. What you don't realize is that it is impossible for survivors to win if I hold a three gen with someone on a hook in the middle of that three gen.
On some of the maps you can even secure that kill without even "camping" them due to corridor designs or corner hook placement.
Survivors play efficiently and finish one gen per chase on average. There are only about five chases in a very efficient game.
On many of the unfair maps I will blatantly face camp. My goal on those is not to win but to tie.
Overall I punish the "gens before friends idea". If I can force a stage two then that player is in actuality dead. From there the game dynamic changes because you have to cycle unhooks and you don't have time for one person to really do much on gens.
If I played one of the S tier killers it would be different because they can play the game normally.
