NOED best perk. Change my mind
The title says it all. I think that NOED is the best killer perk in dbd. One time I had a rough match, very few hooks in the beginning, and NOED saved me. With NOED I managed to instantly down the survivors at the exit gates, hook them, then instantly down the unhookers over and over. I even managed to stall so long that the entity killed 2 survivors due to them not being able to escape at time.

I think that No one escapes death is the best perk, but other opinions are welcome.
P.S. (I would also love some NOED builds down below!)

I'd make it a default game mechanic. This would make Survivors always want to do Totems which would in turn help with the Gen rushing problem that has plagued the game for a long time. Make NOED a default game mechanic. Not a perk...

Endgame Builds can be fun. Whilst I abandoned them a long time ago I still remember when I had Bloodwarden, NOED and 2 other Perks I forgot. Absolutly hilarious and turned a 0K into a 3K
Its not my style anymore but I would never discourage a Killer from running one.
You could combine NOED with the Deathslinger Perk that makes you Oblivious whilst cleaning, or Haunted Ground because that is always fun to trigger

noed is strong perk, but if you hook someone away from totem it will be cleansed very fast.also u dont have hook grabs now so probably if 1 hooked and there still 2 survivors alive it will be hard to secure the kill.but depends a lot on map/killer you play/range till gates

should be default, like doing totems becomes the very additional mechanic you can't no longer ignore.

If you mostly get gen-rushing survivors the build you could use that makes those survivors regret it so much is to use:
Noed, Game Afoot, Rancor, No Way Out

It's kinda funny, but you can easily mori one survivor on the way and then if they already start searching for noed you can easily secure 2 kills without much trouble.

That's quite the combo. :laughing_yeti:

I feel as though if they made it basekit survivors would complain. But you both give solid arguments, right now cleansing totems is very easy for survivors to ignore, I myself have actually never cleansed a totem as survivor

I honestly don't think you need hook grabs, just wait for the survivor to finsih unhooking and then insta-down the unhooker. You get sort of a hook-trade cycle going on

NOED goes well with NWO (no way out) if you pair them together,
it can be a really mean combo against survivors and catch them off guard.

you waste 2 perk slots to ensure an end-game clutch potential
that guarantees kills or even a 4K if the players make risky mistakes.

You can go full endgame with NOED, No way out, Blood Warden, HEX: Undying or something else instead of the last one
I used to play with it and got many tasty kills with it but I wouldnt bet too much on it since it can be cleanesed pretty fast by lucky or experieced survs who know where the totems are

you cant hook trade when there 2 survivors coming to unhook and noed is cleansed,1 takes hit and run away, second unhook takes hit and he with unhooked is running away,if noed still up you dont need to wait for unhook, just hit him near hook

NOED does nothing for you if you are a bad killer that can't loop correctly and therefore never catches up to any survivor. Plus you are totally dependent on the totem staying lit as long as possible. There are many perks that give access to its ability for the whole game and are more "fail-safe"/"beginner-friendly" (for example Bamboozle). Since the most difficult thing is to catch the survivors I personally would value any perk higher than NOED that actually helps you with that.

Noed is the best perks for bad killers who have no in-game pressure.

I can agree with this, but you'd have to remove the movement speed bonus NOED gives to balance it out which killer mains might object to.

So you're saying that killers who run strong perks are bad at the game? And are actually running strong perks not because it makes sense to but because they have no skill? Wow TOTALLY makes sense
