As a survivor the condemned wasn't an issue to deal with , any time i was about to be condemned i just got a tape and put it on a random TV and no more issue. I had to do that around 3-4 times beacuse i was the main target we still finished all the gens and got 2 people out.
I'd say shes around maybe B- tier , could easily be A- too tough.
But in every match we all died with 3-4 gens left to repair. She keeps teleporting to every single gen which gets worked on & breaks chases to teleport back to it if she got too far away.
Maybe people need to get used to it, maybe I was just unlucky with matches (SoloQ). Only time will tell :)
I think most people just need to get used to the idea that stuff like Condemned is actually somewhat of a threat now, and cannot just be full on ignored all the way untill you hit max
There's also some bigger problems with indoor/small maps that has layers. Which doesn't seem thought out well. It's actually kinda broken right now to me. One way would be to just have the condemned distance way shorter on such maps or not work on second floor.
its so easily to just grab a tape in the start of the match, but instead survivors want to start fixing the first generator they see, thinking to finish the match whiout any difficulty 😐 so they can say gg ez❔🙃
I think to strike a good balance is giving survivors TV aura reading within a certain distance when at 4 stacks or above.
This would make condemn less threatening, So I propose they also heavily reducing or completely removing the lullaby to give her a stronger hit and run playstyle, And/or maybe some sort of chase power.
Besides, she is an m1 killer, I feel like her threatening Slowdown makes up for it, But I do see it becoming super oppressive to solo survivors, But not as much to SWF
Never should put a player in a position where spamming their ability mindlessly is an optimal choice.
This was a pretty bizarre choice on bhvrs part. Take pig for example, as soon as you have the trap you have constant info on every station barring one addon. I guess they were correctly worried that giving too much info to survivors would destroy the killer.
But this results in the opposite situation that people expected. The iri tape is worse because survivors can deposit in a turned off tv in that case. The normal mode blocks this and denies info to the survivors while the killer can have complete observation of it.
It's provably not insurmountable but I don't expect this state to survive the mid chapter. I imagine there will be big number nerfs at least. Maybe another reiko nerf for good measure.
