Until then you kind of have to bear in mind the travel distance to other survivors and put yourself in a bush and immediately start recovering, then decide whether you're gonna fully heal or hover at 99% (like with Unbreakable).
What's sad is that it's not as much about me not being able to pick myself up fully healed, but more that some individuals are apparently so bloody eager to pick someone up out of Dying that they're actively dragging the Killer over to where you are, compromising your ability to get healed to begin with
Plus you bleed for a VERY long time before full on bleeding out. So I genuinely dont understand the frantic need to pick my ass up ASAP when I've barely been down for like 3 second
Here's hoping
There are ways of getting downed that make it less likely others will come and grab you immediately, but it's not really something you can write down the steps for, you just sort of learn to go down when/where it seems good. At least now you have control over when that happens.
edit: also, consider that maybe if it's so easy for them to rush and revive you, you should not be going down, just finding them to heal instead.
