It would make a lot more sense if Cage would be involved in DbD film.
I'd enjoy voicing any game if I were making the same paycheck as Nic Cage. Just saying.
But seriously, Cage in many low budget films and in general the star is not of such a high caliber.
You have to consider that bringing him in as a person is a lot easier than a character. They'd have to go to whichever company or people who own the rights to those characters.
Also, Cage already has his own unique personality that he brings to pretty much every role he plays.. If he's in a movie I'm sure that the majority of people don't even remember the characters name but just think of him as Nick Cage.
