Why did they add Nicholas Cage to the game?

Dunno if they even really had to spend much on it, apparently his son really enjoys the game and that was enough for him to agree, but who knows how much they settled on

It feels like Fortnite at this point, plus his goofy perks with little goofy animation. I understand adding his characters from the movies, but adding the person is wrong in my opinion.

the only person who hears the "cheesy lines" are the players that play him. so I don't really see the problem. and I think giving him lines is a great way as making this more than "Look we made a Nicholas cage model!" and if they didn't make them "cheesy" then whats would be the point of giving him voice lines? if all his lines were some boring generic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ then why bother?

It would make a lot more sense if Cage would be involved in DbD film.

Man, I don't even care. Nic Cage in this is absolutely hilarious. People are going to undoubtedly complain for probably stupid reasons, but it's funny to me. I'm going to have a blast messing around with Nic Cage lol. Instant buy for me. He clearly enjoyed doing this for the game!

This game is just a meme at this point, I enjoyed when it felt like a horror survival game or whatever, but now it just feels like Fortnite almost.

You have to consider that bringing him in as a person is a lot easier than a character. They'd have to go to whichever company or people who own the rights to those characters.

Also, Cage already has his own unique personality that he brings to pretty much every role he plays.. If he's in a movie I'm sure that the majority of people don't even remember the characters name but just think of him as Nick Cage.
