DbD, the new PvE game
Keep bots out of servers.
I dont want to have a 3 man DC at 5 gens, now i have to play against 1 person and 3 bots while those 3 get to their next game in 60 seconds

bots have more skill than 98% of soloq survivors
Theyre further punishing killers for poor sport survivors. If someone DCs, let them stay gone so killers can end the game sooner for everyone

Damn, I didn’t think about that.

I once had a solo queue match where everyone abandoned me because they were in a 3-man SWF and didn’t want to go against a Nurse. She was nice enough to let me go, but if they got replaced with bots…. Who even knows how that would go?

I’d probably help her farm the bots tbh, lol

My issue is, how are they going to work against trap killers. Will they purposely walk into traps, will they purposely avoid traps? Will it be RNG?
If the last survivor left is a bot, will they be able to actually try and escape, forcing the killer to essentially be playing a PvE mode?

Honestly, survivors who DC ruins games, yes, but I don't know if bots are really the answer

Not sure if I like this. If you get mostly bots, it just turns the game into a pve game instead of pvp and takes the fun out of the game IMO.

i would say more skill than 98% of survivors, being in premade doenst make a survivor better

Survivor main here.
I dont want bots in my lobbies either.
Raise the punishement for people who DC instead.

A good idea in theory, but this would have the unintended effect of more survivors giving up on first hook.

I’m not sure there’ll ever be a “right” solution to this issue.

I said in another thread, I would have no problem if BHVR gave killers the option to open gates and start EGC once there are 2 or more bots in the match, just to end the game quickly and let them get a new match.

Having said that, I do think this is interesting how no one wants to play against bots. Is it not as enjoyable to tunnel, camp and BM people on hook if you know there’s not another real person on the other end of the screen to take aggression out on? Cuz those are generally the main reasons for the high DC rates in matches. (Many people are just poor sports and want to give up as soon as it gets hard, yes, but the vast majority seem to list the other stuff as their reasons) Instead of addressing the root of why survivors don’t want to stay in matches, this feels like a band aid instead of a solution.

The start of your second paragraph lost whatever point you had. you want to BM and "take your aggression out", play survivor, you can do all that, click flashlight, tbag, spam vault from the very start and just go next when you had your fun.
Killers cant do that, they have to win first. A killer cant BM if they didnt win first

Killers are literally the power role in the game. They decide the pace of the game and how the entire game is going to go depending on how they feel and how they want to behave in the game.

Spam vaulting, flashlight clicks and teabagging literally don’t do anything to you. You can go after another survivor, break pallets, break walls or do whatever else you want. You’re not held hostage to any of that. Survivors are held hostage to BMing on hook, camping and tunneling (tunneling especially if they’re not a god tier looper and even then they’re still being tunneled) because they can’t just “walk away” and do something else from those playstyles.

Killers can hold survivors hostage to endure those playstyles. Survivors can’t hold a killer hostage to endure teabagging. Lol you can simply walk away. You’re comparing apples and oranges.

Just Fyi, the killers in this game are not the victim role. 🤣🤣🤣

I’m still curious about why folks are so angry about the prospect of going against bots that are programmed to play like actual survivors tho. 👀🤣

once again, first sentence is wrong. Killers are no longer the "power role" SWFs are. A 4 man can play as they wish with 8 2nd chance perks and 4 insta heals and still win after harassing the killer for 5 minutes.

Just all of this is absolutely correct. Killer mains have such a bizarre victim complex
