get dredge. A fantastic killer. Teleport everywhere and outsmart people at loops. Very easy
And scare the crap out of survivors when you're jumping out of lockers or suddenly emerge from the dark without terror radius.

How do you know it scares them?

All people said that Wraith is the easiest killer for the beginners and that is right. The others need more practice to learn their gameplay. Escpecially Nurse, Blight, Spirit. Trapper despite his difficulty on paper is hard killer. I also would like recommend Mastermind, he is very fun to play.

If you use Wraith you'll be super fast when cloaked (in stealth), a good move is going ahead of survivors to get between them and the window or pallet before uncloaking. This is easy to do and effective
Wraith beginner friendly and easy to play with.

Because I'm scared of lockers when survivors are inside of them with headon, imagine a killer that does the same, also a killer that appears from where you least expect it should be scary.
But yeah, I haven't been on the receiving end of a dredge yet so I have no idea of what are the tells.

Getting startled isn't scary though.
These things also have dimishing returns.
Just play enough survifvor and the game stops being scary altogether.
That's how survivors become efficvient, they stop being scared and get ♥♥♥♥ done.
