It would make more sense if one of the red forest maps were reworked with the base of the skull merchant (which is in the middle of a random forest) or even a new map with a specific offering like you said.
They previously handwaved the Temple Of Purgation being in the Russian Red Forest by saying, in-canon, the Entity sometimes gets confused or otherwise doesn't always understand the full context of something; this leads to mistakes and things like unconnected gens powering things.
haha, even entity "loved" her father's random manga
"Roman" Babylon russian forest. 100% accurate /s

Mother's Dwelling is the Huntress map. And Temple of Purgatory is Plague's Map. (Though it may not be clear). So, on that basis I think they already belong to a killer. But, yes, they need some reworking.
My view is sort of, if you can't be bothered to make a new map for the new killers, and want to rehack an old, one, at least create an offering.
In the last 2 days, I have used maybe 20 offerings for Macmillain and seen the new map twice. In maybe 30 games, that is the only time i have seen it. That seems kind of silly for a map touted as the new thing to come and see.
Very much agreed. They add an achievement for it, but for specifically that version of the map only, because that's the only version that has the SM camp.
Yes! Exactly!
Pretty much this.
