Dead Hard is easily countered by a head juke or waiting a few seconds and has always been countered by such. If Dead Hard didn't exist and Slippery Meat was the most popular Survivor perk Killers would be crying about it instead when confronted with balance changes.
TL/DR: Humanity is, collectively, idiotic.
It's always been hated, I think that's part of many peoples arguments. They "changed up the meta" And its still the same DH in almost every game, with DH dictating how killers have to play even if a survivor doesn't have it. Unless you've seen someone use a different Exhaustion, you have to assume they have it.
Playing around DH is so ingrained in my Playstyle at this point that I personally Don't mind it.
Getting ahead of the chase and zoning the Survivor away from strong loops/walking around the pallet drop to force a 50/50 vault (spoiler, you'll win) wants to have a word with you. If you follow Survivors like Pac Man and eat every pallet then it's no wonder why you think Dead Hard is so strong.
Once they have to play without those perks, most tend to fail spectacularly
But if, theoretically, permanently remove DH
most players will have to re-learn how to play dbd without DH
When I played without DH, I realized that I was weak in chase and I lacked skill ''E''
I've won a lot with DH. And lost a lot against DH
You would be wrong. Very wrong... lol.
