Good Beginner Survivor Perks?
Hey there!! I've played the game for about 100 hours and I've reached Iri 1 as Killer. What kind of perks should I be using as a beginner Survivor? I've got about 1.7 million Bloodpoints with 1 million coming on the 13th. Also, 7,000 iri shards. :lunar2019piginablanket:

Deja Vu
Kindred (if playing solo)

I'd recommend unlocking Dwight and his perk Prove Thyself for all other survs.

Bond. It's immensely useful for the beginner solo survivor (it continued to be useful well into the game but it's a must for early survivors).

Just dont use no mither, itll just screw you until your more experienced. also dont use self care, just get a basic medkit, gamers who go self care in a corner for an hour(yes the perks that terrible) have iqs lower than room temp

Kindred is so underrated. I'm shocked how few solo Q players use it.

I'll third Kindred. It gives so much valuable information both to you and your team, and it'll help you start develop a game-sense of when to do what.

Deja Vu, Bond, Kindred, Lightweight, Windows of Opp. . If you'd like to know why, i'd love to tell you if needed

Yo, i'm a begginer too, played for 103h but for what i could see, i say to save your Iri Shards and buy Kate with them, WooP helps a lot with loop and sense. Kindred also mentioneted it's amazing to you and your team since will work like a ''information'' perk. Also i say to up Dwight first beacause of Prove Thyself and Bound, 2 great perks.

Info Perks: Bond + Open-Handed, Empathy, Any Means Necessary, Alert, Kindred. These will all tell you where the killer is around the map when they are chasing someone. Not quite as necessary now with the new HUD, but it's still nice to know exactly where the chases are happening.

Quality of Life Perks: Technician, Prove Thyself, and Windows of Opportunity. If you're not yet confident in hitting skill checks, Technician can help you not to alert the killer where you are as you blow up yours, or other people's, gens. Prove is good for team work making the dream work, and Windows literally highlights 'run here stupid' to make looping easier.

Chase Perks: Personally, I like Overcome as my Exhaustion perk of choice. The distance it gives you without having to actually DO anything is pretty unparalleled and can really make a killer be forced to decide if it's even worth chasing you after that initial hit. Most of them have their place, though, and Lithe + Quick and Quiet + Dance With Me is also very effective if you can get out of LOS very quickly to lose chase.

'Second Chance' Perks: Off the Record is the best one currently, imo. 80 seconds of free Iron Will + stealth + Endurance is pretty sick. Unbreakable is also a good one, though is situational and requires the killer to be trying to slug. Deliverance is also good, though requires getting an unhook to get value out of, but when paired with Off the Record can really help you to save yourself in SoloQ.

Distortion shouldn't be discounted, as the easiest way to survive is to never be found. Inner Healing or various boons can be powerful if you like to cleanse totems. Flashbang and Blast Mine can punish killers that aim for a hook near you (or are chasing you) or those that like to kick gens.

Lot of great perks out there, recommend to just go nuts and try what seems interesting.

Just do NOT run Self-Care. Unless you really love being the anchor that drags your team under, Claudette.

self care can help you learn by allowing you to get into chases, and maybe escape, or get hooked and then recover to full on your own, without needing to bunch up on the map.

Please never ever again recommend self care to new players. It's an absolutely horrible perk and it will become a crutch for playing poorly that will destroy any chance at them ever escaping because of the entire minutes they'll spend healing per match

Never mind what i said, your answer is based. Every survivor should use selfcare, Circle of healing is bad. And dead hard is also very bad and the killers love when you run it

Honestly though, self care isn't that bad. If you're running freebie survivor stuff the things I said aren't wrong.

No! They're right! Survivors should spend at the very least 6 minutes per match healing. I am absolutely not trying to kill you and you should take my advice as i am not the killer, fellow survivor
