Were you running a high place with Boil Over?
Did you have an unhookable build and sabo team and kept running to a far corner?
Was it Pig?
I hate Pig.
Sometimes slugging is the smart play. I had survivors who sent themselves to the swamp map and teehee ran into the bottom floor of the one structure where I couldn't hook them. Downed two of them down there and just stood at the top of the stairs waiting patiently while they bled out. Sorry, but no free passes.
Sometimes you meet that maladjusted Trapper who's been on Eyrie of Crows one too many times and they just slug peole and then flex over them until they die because that's... IDK. It's like waiting at the exit gates.
There's no reason why sometimes. Some people really do just be weird. Gotta learn to take your lumps. When the game is on, it's great. When it's slugging at 5 gen Nurse with Blindness and Oblivious on everyone, it's GG pro gamer, I'll go next.
Just because you don't like that you got slugged does not give you the right to ragequit, nor the right to decide how the Kilelr can kill you.
You got no context here.
I have absolutely had killers slug all four of us and pick no one up and just walk around nodding at us instead.
No, we weren't being toxic, it was back when I was a bebe potato with a team of SoloQ potatos. It's not just survivors that bully.
No sabo, all soloQ, not even playing toxic. There were still 5 gens to be done.
He lost ofc, but it's kinda of boring to play like this.
That does not change the fact that it's no excuse to DC or expect the DC penalty to not apply.
I've also had Survivors who were in 4-Man bully squads who pent more than half the match preventing me form getting any hooks.
I remember one match, before hooks respawned when sabo'd, where they brought their strongest toolboxes, 99%'d every hook they saw, and then followed me in my first chase. The SECOND I downed their friend; multiple hooks were sabo'd in that area, and they ran ahead of me to sabo every hook I went towards.
After that; they made sure to take any chases to the dead zone, so I could never get a hook.
I did not DC because my irritation over their tactics did not excuse me DCing.
So I have perfectly good context here; DCing is not excused when you're upset. Regardless of side.
I agree that DC is not the answer.
Why do killers get a ban if they leave after getting gen rushed or being sent to a really unfair map?
Regarding slugging, if killer is doing it just because they are a jerk, I understand the anger, but in cases where survivors bring sabo perks or perks that boost their chances of wiggling free before they get hooked, slugging is a valid tactic for a win, but not for geting pips nor BPs, since you aren't rewarded for survivors who bleed out.
2) Don't go down in a first place.
3) You are not forced to wait for 5 mins - create SWF party with 3 friends and talk, they will pick you up.
3.1) Or just DC and go next game.
Also killer slugged you for several reasons:
a) To create pressure;
b) To win the game;
c) It is not against game rules.
A lot of people in the community need to understand that not every single game will go your way.
And you can always move on and play another match instead of being a petty ♥♥♥♥♥, and crying about it on the forums like it'll solve anything or change your match outcome.
Some people will sweat hard, and there's not much you can do about that.
Best piece of advice is just working around that and not letting it get to you so much.
A break always helps.
If you get slugged most of the time the killer feels they need to or their newer. So it's not nearly as likely that someone is trying to be malicious as people think. I slug every once in a while and leave someone down as a bait then get a team cripple by downing some of the others. After that I hook because I used their altruistic nature against them. So I think people need to understand the difference between "slugging" and slugging considering some think walking away for a short while to handle a problem = slugging.
Not saying that happened here as I have little to no context but ya your already running the counter which is unbreakable.
