I think feedback was overall negative, so it's possible they scraped the idea altogether.
You instantly win if everyone is down or hooked, that's pretty good and you waste less time. This update would be good against slugging overall, since there's no point in slugging people unless you wanted to be toxic or something.
I don't have enough fingers to count the amount of times I have been slugged either because the killer wanted me to bleed out.. or the killer just wanted to waste my time while he look for 4 minutes a survivor that's hiding for hatch. Slugging because you found the last person is fine in my book, just don't waste my time afterward..
It's tiresome honestly. I play both roles and this update would be good. No need to judge it when it's being worked on. They could change a few things to make it better.
I said almost 100%. Not to change this into a semantic argument but I added almost in there after the sentence was written, hence the awkwardness of the phrasing.
This update has literally forced me out of playing builds I find fun and can afford to let a survivor or two go because I'm satisfied with the amount of amusement I had and straight into playing as mercilessly as possible, slugging people who take protection hits or use flashlights, tunnelling the weak links, applying exposure as often as possible and playing the Doctor almost exclusively, even though I had given him up because I know he's no fun to play against.
If the devs wanted me to be merciless and not fun, then mission accomplished and I have screenshots to prove it. One pre-patch as Blight where I convinced the survivors to bring me all the items in the level in exchange for their lives(best game I ever played and no one died).
One from today where I made 3 survivors disconnect on hook and utterly dominated with no regard for the other 4 players and their 'fun'.
Just saying. I don't have a lot of faith in the devs right now, they made a fun game - but there are fundamental flaws (old and new) that are going to require some big brain fixes and honestly, they haven't had the best track record for that. I mean, look what they did to the Twins. Again.
Sorry if this came off as overly negative, I have literally no outlet for feedback other than these forums.
