Don't know if there will be ingame shop sales during christmas, but Steam Winter Sale should be coming up soon and you probably can get DLCs quite cheap there.

I've been wondering about this too. I'm going to save my shards and cells for any 50%+ sales. Even if there's no Christmas sale (humbug? lol) there's no point in throwing away half of your shards/cells when next year's Halloween sale is gonna happen.

Make sure you take advantage of the current double exp, which is great for hoarding shards for future sales!

Wish they would put the last 4 dlc's on sale. I own everything except for those last 4. I play mostly Survivor so I guess I could benefit from the newer Survivors. I have most of the teachables from the other characters. I run my typical build as a Solo Survivor and it works for me the majority of the time.

Only other option is to wait for another DLC to come out after a couple of weeks. Normally they put stuff on sale after that lol. I might just go ahead and get the DLC. Since I'm back from driving semi trucks now I'll have more time to play.
