Forsaken Boneyard is not a strong survivor map
So why the random nerf? It's not even in my A tier of maps i will personally use such as Ormond, Saloon, Badham, Midwich, there's probably 7 maps i would use before it if i'm taking a map. The mid area is not even strong, it has two windows below which have a breakable door right beside them and an incredibly strong basement for killers. There's just two pallets on top and it's weak up there unless you have balanced landing. So what was the complaint? Too large? Forest map is probably bigger, that map is massive. The devs said they agree according to their "data" but didn't actually elaborate at all which leads me to believe they nerfed it because a required amount of killers who didn't like the map complained about it and they can only tolerate/handle a certain amount before caving into demands.
If anything i would even make some buffs in certain areas of that map for survivors and maybe make it a little smaller. Strange one when there's far stronger maps.

It is not great for a lot of killers and statistically it IS a strong survivor map
If you lose more on Boneyard than you lose on average you normally do something wrong

I don't lose on Boneyard on killer, so is it just a skill issue then? I never even mentioned the game in my list which can have 10+ god pallets and people wanted boneyard nerfed? Most definitely low mmr shenanigans and a new player thing from the sound of it, totally unaware.

There really isn't anything on the survivor side that needs nerfed right now, but you know those BHVR developers. If they can make something worse, they sure will give it the ole college try.
I personally dont mind Boneyard as Killer but as killer I mainly play Huntress and Huntress is not really a good measure and neither is like nurse.
I am not a new player nor am I low mmr I have been playing for a long time and used to be a red rank tryhard when it actually mattered somwhat, not that it should matter but being like oh you must be low skill/new is kinda hilarious to me coming from you.
But Behaviour changing maps was always and will always be a overbalance roulette in my books. I am not sure people wanted it nerfed either because I personally have not heared alot about people complaining about it. Even though you can basically chain from main building to shack without ever having to really leave safe loops.

I think they are generally trying way too hard to please everyone when it is not really possible. Statistically we are in a killer sided time too but for every piece they give one side they feel the need to give one to the other side too.
And yeah I dont trust them rebalancing maps because they normally make it way worse Q_Q

I said it was newer player yes because there's way way stronger maps and these players must be unaware of other maps or have medium to low game knowledge. Imagine these same players playing on Badham or Ormond or the game or even new Rpd let alone old one, I can't for the life of me understand a nerf to this map and not others, from someone with thousands of killer games. I know excactly what the strongest survivor maps are and boneyard is not even in the top 6.

More survivor nerfs are clearly needed to get kill rates to 70% even just ok survivor maps are getting nerfed lol.

- Too many save pallets, most of them are long loops and unMindGameable
- Main building is abusable with Boil Over, there's no guaranteed hook spawn on the second floor. It's even worse with a Petrified Oak Offering.
- The map was too big, which made it almost impossible to defend gens.
- When you play a basic M1 killer you're going to have a really bad time. Knowing at the start of the game you are most likely going to lose, just because of the map isn't healthy or fun.

Personally I play Artist and can shut down loops easily, so I didn't experience these problems. But I can understand why some people don't like the map, most killers can't play well on this map.
Also when I play survivor I know I'm going to escape unless it's a Nurse.
So the rework was really needed. I hope Red Forest and Badham Preschool are next.

Yeah, hopefully we can get survivor escape rates down to 20%. 40% is way to high.

Another completely unnecessary change in a favor to baby killers.

No there isn't too many safe pallets, iv'e seen quite a few bad ones there with very short tetris style L walls on them. Top is also not abusable with boil over since theres a hook up there and it was nerfed heavily already. I'll agree the map is big but it's not an unmanagable size. A basic m1 killer will struggle on most maps, try playing one on the game for example. A mediocre killer will lose alot of games anyway, they don't need to spawn on boneyard to think that, as i said there's still at least 7 better maps.

I'm not a fan of the two newest maps. I have a lot in my inventory on multiple Survivors but will refuse to bring them. If I want to irritate the Killer I'll bring Ormond. Other times I'll bring Macmillan or Cold Wind or Autohaven. I just started bringing Boil Over more often now. Lately its been a tunnel fest.

So you bring two maps the killer will be happy with, autohaven and mcmillan (especially shelter woods) not sure why you think you annoy the killer with those.

I know MacMillian and Autohaven don't annoy the Killer. Gives Killers like Blight and Billy more mobility. The smaller maps are an issue with mobility Killers.

As someone who plays a lot of Killer I dont mind that map at all and I dont get the hate for it. Badham, Ormond and the fekien swamp wich i get on 18-19/20 of my twins games for whatever reason, make me feel a special kind of way and its not positive.
