Need help - Failed to open descriptor file

I am getting the following error while trying to launch the game:

Failed to open descriptor file
../../../DeadByDaylight/DeadByDaylight.uproject

I already validated the game files, and uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

Can someone help me?

Yes, same problem here. Seems pretty common the last few weeks. I'm still trying to figure out what caused it.

I still have no idea. Saw a few posts with same error here and there, but it doesn't seem like there's a solution to it. Game hasn't worked since.

well i dont think anybody can help you except the developers unless one guy who sees this thread is a developer! so just open a ticket and ask them how to fix it(i would think they can give you an answer to this)
