Not just the trap door. Black lock can mean also a chest. I got confused by it once so make sure you can tell the difference between the hatch or a chest.

Oh, good to know. I always thought it was just the hatch, and was a bit confused by the use of "locks" instead of "lock" in the item description.

Yeah I thought so too but apparently it's any chest as well. I was confused because when it said lock I always figured well the chest isn't locked so it can't be that but I guess I was wrong at that point. It's both.

and i thought this was a special hidden black chests that gives you ultra rare offerings or addons or items...

Hell I'll spend my time looking for that if there was one. Cant imagine the struggle of everyone trying to get it lol.

I really don't think chests are considered black locks dude. I mean the key unlocks the black lock. When was the last time you ran into a locked chest? And the map addon "Black Silk Cord" has never highlighted a chest for me. Are you sure you werent using the perk to find chests?

I dont understand what you mean with that. Howd you figure a black lock is the chest? And what difference does it make anyway?

Also yeah, the addon for the map only tracks the 'black lock', the hatch, not the chests.
We already have a word for chests, chests. The perk that highlights them

I don't ever use that perk. I know for sure because I had the add on with the map and it gave the same icon on my screen as would a hatch would be. It is considered a black lock due to i'm guessing the devs point of view. Try going near a chest and walking away from it and use the add on, you'll see.

I hope they'll think about it in time. I'd rather spend the whole map looking for it than T-bagging a killer with NoED.

if you know where they were spawn its better to use other useful perks than this one.

Because I got confused when I used the map with the add on, while playing the map coldwind farm and I figured it was the hatch location but it turned out to be a chest. Literally telling myself wtf but i'm glad I know now.
