OBS Problems

Hello! I am having problems with the "Game Capture" feature on OBS, in that whenever I use this feature on Dead By Daylight, it just shows a blank screen on the recording. Is there a way around this? For the record, I am not a YouTuber who does videos on this game, nor am I a Twitch streamer who streams this game, I just like to record funny moments with my friends.
The only work around I have found with this issue is to use the "Window Capture" feature instead.

It sounds like a problem specific to you, my Game Capture works fine :/.

Window Capture should work just fine. If that works for you, then just use that. I use Game Capture: ADW Window Capture I think it's called? It's through Game Capture but it captures the default monitor and acts like a monitor capture but without the stuttering monitor capture sometimes has.

Nah its fine, nobody has found a solution so you may as well leave it here.

Maybe reinstall or try checking cache on game itself? I had the *edit*game capture** issue and that fixed it for me

Any and all macros are disabled, that might have something to do with it.

I could never get game capture to work with DBD in OBS, I always use Monitor Capture for DBD instead. But I have the luxury of dual monitors so I can get away with that.

If you have Nvidia use ShadowPlay

Just talked to my co-worker who streams DBD. He said the only way he can get game capture to work in OBS is to go into the capture properties and turn off the anti-cheat hook. Otherwise it won't work.

Yeah for the record guys, I stopped playing DbD AGES ago, I am now bored of it. But hopefully someone found the issue to the problem (For the record, it still doesn't work for me but oh well)
