what's the problem with the stranger things dlc?

Seriously, I don't understand these people who are complaining so much about the stranger things dlc. It's just a fun dlc. just ignore it if you really dislike it, for whatever reason.

for killers who don't like this:
what, are you scared that the two new survivors means there will be at least 1 broken perk? DS took a while to get nerfed, but the dbd team works a lot better with perks now. look how fast MoM got nerfed.

for survivors who don't like this:
are you... actually too scared of the demogorgon? or just afraid it'll be good? man up, since almost all of you used to like mettle of MAN so much.

for people who just straight up hate the series:
i'm not going to ask why you don't like the series, but that doesn't mean you have to whine. just IGNORE IT. and if you really, REALLY want to, dc whenever you get a demogorgon, or see a steve/nancy in your lobby.

for other people complaining it's "not what they wanted" or "it's a dumb idea":
you don't know it's not what you wanted yet. maybe there's this perfect killer/survivor perk just for your playstyle, or maybe it turns out you like the map (despite it prolly being very similar to lery's, except very, very dark). this isn't the end of dbd, stop complaining.

i may be biased as a fan that loves this series, but that doesn't disprove what I said just now.

i'm a "toxic" survivor main and rank 20 killer, so obviously i don't have an opinion whatsoever

More than likely, Nancy and Steve will share a character slot, like The Legion does. So more than likely, it will still only be the 3 base perks. So that's problem number 1 solved right there.

My only gripe is it does go against established lore that the Entity itself is only interested in humans. So, who knows? I'd rather have another original character, but the last ones bombed hard from what I heard, so I guess they'll be playing it safe from now on.

Unless, it turns out this is a spoiler for Season 4 of ST, and Demogorgons are all humans, somehow. In which case, that would make me more mad than anything.

Like if they were going to do a non human creature, I would have preferred the Xenomorph, Pumpkinhead, or I dunno...just about any classic horror creature that isn't new, or takes on the face of a Borderlands skaag.

I think it adds to the lore, like the entity and the mind flayer are somehow similar, and in this case the entity may have stolen one of his demogorgons, or maybe the demogorgon ended in the entities realm by mistake and it locked him inside. Demogorgons are atracted to blood, and we have plenty of that in this realm.

It might not be the scariest show ever, but it still has a dark atmosphere and things going on. It does fit in a kind of way.

That's nitpicking on another level. Just don't buy the dlc if you dislike it that much or be at least happy for those who are happy. I am and would be, for anyone and any chapter.

It's worth mentioning the phrase "You are what you eat," applies to them if you've seen season 2.
