Is it me or are there more killers running esp hacks?
I'm a Hag main but when playing survivor, I noticed a significantly higher number of killers knowing where survivors are without the required perks. No nurse's, no deer's, no chili, no whispers, nothing. But apparently know where survivors are at without searching for them - focusing on seemingly random/bizarre areas like a big rock in the corner or the plow in cornfield and not giving up as they run in circles looking for someone who provides no indication they are there. Just finished a round where killer kept running to me while I was near-dead when I crawled so far away it would take esp to find me that quickly and again right before I found the exit door. I can forgive the unlucky finds - it's part of the game. But when it happens over and over, I'm not so clueless that hacks exist and people use them. Anyone else running into this?

Its not just you...... Lots of fishy ♥♥♥♥, beelines to surv's without bbq mid map etc. Hbilly & nurse especially. fishy af

Sucks too, because hell even hacks/cheats in actual esports worth 100k+$s'
I just want to play a game on fair grounds, to many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cheaters/hacks/exploiters that live in their mothers basements!!!! :((
Survivors are territorial as F. You keep goin back to the same Fing gens over and over again. I would like to see some actual deviation from game plans before you say anything about hacking.
Hell ask the killer in post game chat why did they go there it might be:
I was defending Hex Ruin,
I saw you at the same time I saw this survivor but thought they were easier prey,
two one split on remaining gens and I had the two to the left and right of me.

Lots of killers will gladly tell you what mistakes you made if you just ask. Ask and learn how they read you.

I've ran a couple times into killers with a suspicious accuracy for finding survivors. Especially when it turn out they where not using any sort of detection perk. Could be experience and attention for details, could be intuition or sheer luck. And most of the times it probably is. But there are also times where its very fishy and could very likely be hacking, but thoses cases are rare.

I don't know of this bug still exists, but claudettes and kates hair used to gave their position away.
You could see their hair as clear as daylight through the fog (but not through walls if I remember correctly.

Cheating is definitely up this month, likely someone thinks they have a way around the anti-cheat.
But I expect Behaviour is just waiting for the Next Chapter patch to come along so they can pick up sales on the first 1-3 days before rolling out a wave of bans.

I once faced a Nurse who somehow knew that I was behind a rock. It was the beginning of the game and she was looking for the first target. She blinked right next to me and hit me. I don't think it was luck but I have no proof that she was cheating.
I mean I'm not gonna say that it wasn't cheating, but I don't run any hacks but back when I used to main nurse after 150 hours of gameplay these things just do happen VERY rarely, I have had a couple games though where I'd blink and be like "Oh. Its you" *Slash* tp, slash, hook. Its late for the surv but I never risk losing a leg up even if its luck based xD at least not when I'm playing seriously. I'm fairly certain you can even see into lockers briefly as nurse if you're going through them, or at least you could. I'm not sure anymore, don't main nurse anymore, but I remember seeing ppl and lockers and them accusing me of hacking because I saw them when I blinked through the locker chasing someone else.

Maybe the killer saw a survivor run to that direction. If I was a killer I would try to keep a note in my head where Survivors ran off to while injured so afrer hooking someone I wouod make a big guess and start roaming around in a further potential area a survivor would go to heal and if he has Iron will or just finished healing I would still circle around hoping for a grass to start rustling. Watch some of Otzdarvas videos he explains his mentality on his killer actions all the time so that might you get some insight. Though in my personal experience I only encountered one guy blatantly hacking and one killer I was very suspicious of. No sense in his actions and just made a U turn and started running to my direction for no reason.

I mean after certain point you start to see patterns of where survs tend to hide or just use headphones and hear survs farts.
Pretty much...when you play both sides, you learn the typical hiding spots. I also pay attention to birds and when one flies off, I know a survivor is in that area.

Granted there are hacks and the such too, both sides use them, but common knowledge about knowing hiding places is more likely. Well, that and stream sniping.

Is it though? you don't know the situation they were in and instead just play it down.

Most people I know have a tendency to overreact to the situation. It's almost something humans in general do.

I'm not saying there aren't hackers. Hell I have a video of a Laurie speedhacking, I'm saying they likely aren't as prevalent as people make them out to be.

The problem is people make out as though they don't exist, and they gather a bandwagon of cheats and lemmings.

I've run into this stuff tons of time. I don't record matches or anything though, so I just shrug and move on. It'd be pretty tough to prove either way, but I definitely feel you and believe you.

I think people misappropriately call out Lags switching when its just a player on Wifi. But if you factor out lag switching complaints, I expect cheating is significantly more prevalent then players believe.

No ones ever calls out a survivor claiming they are hacking to reveal totem locations. And its very hard to call out a killer or survivor that is moving 5% faster from the other team, but it can be very apparent if one survivor is running behind another in a straight line. And with killer perks being hidden post game it makes things even murkier.

I do however agree that the really obvious cheating like 300% movement speed and teleporting players into your traps/chainsaws is very rare. Undoubtedly they get reported left, right, and center for it too.

Honestly this is one of the harder games too tell, FPS games you live, die, repeat and you can test players, and alot of times you'll get them shooting as you come from behind a wall or whatever, and you can then test them doing it too have a pretty positive idea that they are.

On this it's pretty much, blink, wallop, hook, dead. Not much time to test things out, it's also why they can get away with it easier.

Another is For Honor.
