Dead by daylight will have multiple killers, 3 on launch. I can see Dead by daylight got inspiration from a lot of different areas, but nothing is a copy at all. It looks like everything in Dead by daylight is very original and I like that because they can do whatever they want in the future, they aren't locked into one genre with limited ideas.
Both games will be cool, but I think Dead by daylight will be more fun and more longevity. Friday the 13th looks more like a novelty game that would be fun for 10 minutes and then you never play again. But thats just me. Everyone likes different styles.
Agreed, I will be playing both. Enough room for everyone.
Not to mention Dead by Daylight gets far, far more artistic freedom since it's not constrained by it's license like Friday the 13th is.
