Nurse and Exit Gates
So I haven't seen anyone talk about this nor have I see anyone use this yet.

My friend and I were experimenting with the nurse and the way she works along with some other killer mechanics. Now, I do not play as killer so this was all just a learning experience to kind of strategize for when I am up against a Nurse.

Before the exit gates are open, the nurse can blink right inside. She can blink into that exit gate "room/space" and she can do it from either side of the brick walls or just through the unopened gate door. Now, at first I thought, okay, this is cool but an absolute waste as no one would want to just sit there the entire game.

But then I thought, "hey, this would go well with some perks!" Now, think of theach possibilities here. A Nurse who has blinked her way into this space CAN camp here for the whole game and maybe pull out with maybe 1-2 sacrifices. (Albeit not worth it) They can use Insidious and No One Escapes Death. Bam, instant troll.

Think this ability to blink into the exit gate was tested and intended or do you think it will be fixed?

Premonition

Idk, I would think only one kill would be possible sonde they can crawl to the exit, unless there is a hook right outside.

I am aware. But do people KNOW the nurse can do this. Are they going to expect to see her waiting inside the gate

Nah it's just a funny trick to play once in a while, it's hardly game breaking. Even with NOED 3 and all 4 survivors for some reason using the same gate, it's highly unlikely you'll get more than 1 person since the first will immediately start crawling for the escape zone.

Ya I don't see this being useful in any way unless you just wanted to be a prick. But even then you could play out the match until there's one gen left and then rush to a gate and chill inside.

They wouldnt expect it, but when premonition goes off they'd just walk away

If they play the whole match and then hide when theres one gen left and say there's one or two survivors left then? It would be a gamble though for them to come to your gate anyway

I'm stupid so I probably wouldn't walk away. But then again I enjoy having a good chase and trying to get away from the killer. It helps my teammates out too by distracting the killer.

Not sure you need any perks at all when i assume with you activating an exit gate the pounding heatbeat would be a bit of a giveaway?

Who are we talking about? There would not be any pounding heartbeat if the killer has Insidious perk and is standing still.

A guy did this to me earlier with insidious but with premonition I ran away.

Yea but Insidious takes away the heartbeat so you wouldn't see her coming at all until the actual gate's open and you see her inside like "Surprise betch" :revs2tank:

Also I don't always use premonition. I am always swapping around my perks, well, two of them anyway. I keep on Sprint Burst and Adrenaline but I am not always using Premonition so I might not be so lucky one day.

It's possible he didn't read the whole post considering I do mention the perk in the post.

This is a strategy i thought of actually. But if you have premonition it completely negates that.
