Where are you supposed to go after getting unhooked?
Most of the time the killer is soft camping anyway so is there really any point to getting unhooked?

Just hope you guess the killer's position correctly and while you're on the hook, plan multiple escape routes and take one when you get unhooked. After this point, it's all about luck that the killer guessed wrong and gave you enough time to get away and hopefully get healed.

Hopefully your rescuer gets you off the hook when he's not in the immediate area and if he is, takes a hit for you so you don't get instadowned. Run to the nearest pallets and cut LOS asap.

There's a huge reliance on your teammates to unhook you at a time where you can actually get away. If the team is good at coordinating one can pose as a distraction and another can unhook causing a better chance of fully escaping.

In times like those I prefer to be left on the hook so I can get struggle points but nope. Survivors want them altrusim points ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me over.

Hope your rescuer wasn't dumb enough to sprint towards you unless the killer was on the other side of the map and have a pre-planned escape route or five. Aim for places with ledges and pallets so you have a chance of breaking LOS.

I see, I guess that one perk that gives you increased healing after unhooking comes in handy. I never really thought of looking round to plan a route.

I see, well in recent situations they would be getting chased and then unhook me only to kinda use me as a distraction :c

The thing that just happened that pushed me over the edge a bit was someone running over to me while being chased, I guess to get those sweet points and possibly a distraction now that I think of it.

Being unhooked and finding the hatch are the things that annoy me the most.
