The game isn't really fixed out on running smooth. I have a 300€ GPU and I can play the game on medium without lags, further option will result in a big lag.

Check out the minimum specs on the store page and just build something around there or better

Well as smooth as possible or at least playable. Which PC do you have?

AMD Radeon HD 6870 1 GB
6 GB RAM
Windows 10 64 Bit
recommend at least something like GTX 950 or above

I don't really know much about PCs so excuse if anything sounds stupid lol. Is there a PC that could run it without having to buy a graphics card or anything like that? Like I'm looking for the whole thing not just the graphics card.

Nah not really. This Game is Unoptimized. So you need a "Good" or "Medium" PC.

im using a $1.4k gaming laptop and runs ultra around 50-60 fps and killer drops little more but still pretty smooth and playble. i also tried it running on a igpu intel hd 530 on the i7 6700hq run 15 fps ultra and low 20fps...

I don't really know anything about this sort of thing. So let's say in starting from scratch and don't have a PC. What one should I buy that is going to be able to run Dead By Daylight and won't require a new graphics card? Or is buy a new graphics card going to be inevitable? If possible could you name the PC, preferably low cost, and if necessary a graphics card. Thanks

That's a little over my budget haha

I use a GTX 770, 8GB RAM, i5-4690k and get 40-46 fps on high settings, whilst on ultra settings I will get 30-35 fps (with lag spikes).

I have a recent lonovo laptop that can run it.
It really depends on the gpu at the end of the day.

there are plenty of websites that can help you determine if the gpu can play it or not.
Notebookcheck is a good website if you google "gpu" while finding it you can find it.

I would go with a desktop though, if you are talking about desktop gpus (some assembly required) almost any gpu that goes for about 150$ should do.
Just be sure to check popular cards that arent brand new, they generally are good for their price.

*Edit* am I allowed to post links or would that be against this forums rules?

here a decent $350 gaming pc. no case or storage. if you want to go a little more cheaper u can get a G3258 cpu which is around $70, but you'll have to overlock the g3258 if u plan on getting it

CPU: Intel Core i3-4170 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor ($117.88 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($43.88 @ OutletPC)
Memory: G.Skill NS Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($33.98 @ Newegg)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Superclocked Video Card ($119.99 @ B&H)
Power Supply: EVGA 400W ATX Power Supply ($27.89 @ OutletPC)
Total: $343.62

what to expect? heres the a video with pretty much the same specs

Overall this game is a pretty cpu heavy. I would plan on upgrading the cpu first later on, if u plan on playing DbD alot.

In risk of getting in trouble Ill post it anyway.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphics-Cards.13849.0.html

This lists "ALL" gpus not just laptop ones based on performance and you can check other games similar to DbD's graphics. I used this site to pick my Nvidia 680 out of a crowd of gpus and I only ended up spending around 200$ for a gpu that has thusfar lasted me for 4 years now, my previous one 99$ lasted me for 2 years, Never broke I just wanted to upgrade.
yet both of those prices combind dont compare to the price of a brand new top of the lane models, they age very quickly.
