Just do everyone a favor and f*ck off. The answer you gave can be posted below literally every problem anybody could ever had with any game there is. Nobody can take you serious with crap like this.
If the audio of a game prevents people from enjoying aspects of it, it should be adjusted - not completely changed or switched out - adjusted.
So much ditto. I use Stridor III and I feel like I caught on to that hiding wounded, but it just turns out to be me.
The Nurse's breathing is in part to her backstory, as her head is covered with a pillow case, for which the description reads "Linen pillowcase held over the face until the victim stops breathing". This insinuates that the Nurse was suffocated, hence the raspy breathing.
I'm not saying that you need to suck it up, but I am saying that it pertains to the actual game, and not thrown in just for "Raspy breathing is scary".
