I've had that happen a few times before over the past year or so and even just two days ago because I had just recently upgraded my SSD drives and decided to start fresh with everything including windows. Each time it was because Windows Defender was having some issue with EAC and eating up CPU, I waited it out the very first time but it happened again within a day or two so since then I just disable defender completely because it annoys me. But I'm pretty sure you just have to add all the EAC folders to the exception list or something like that.
Hmmm, yea, I can barely load into the game when it's doing all the "retrieving store xyz" "loading profile" etc. But once in the game my ping is 66 and steady. I also noticed it's taking a long time to connect to DBDs website. All this just started in the past couple hours. Must either be my connection to their servers or the servers themselves acting up. My connection everywhere else is just fine.
