Skeleton key addons

Why do you need 15 seconds of use ? The hatch opens instantly, can you do anything else with it ?

What is "the great expense" ? Does that mean when the hatch actually spawns ?
EDIT: I think I get the extra seconds of use ... The hatch isnt open for ever but with those add ons it stays open for longer

It's for the aura addons which consume charges. The amber description is just misleading, but it works as long as the survivor one.

I think you can see the other survivors as well.

My favorite add ons are the one that reveal :

Killers aura within 32m

Survivors aura within 32m.

Can't remember what they're called exactly. I use the 15 second duration + one of those when I use them.

Ey I have 20 Skeleton Keys right now.

Don't really care if I die with one, or lose it when the Hatch is unlocked XD

Skeleton Keys are mostly used for aura readings, for example seeing survivors within a certain radius. Works similarly to the map in terms of time addons.

The amber reveals the killers aura within a 32m radius from you.

Not the amber ... The extra 10/15 seconds of use
