plus, it's fun
When I played on Controller for a while though it was a different story I knew what movements I had to make but even at max sensitivity I often couldn't get hits when I got 360'd so I had to stop playing until I got a new mouse, honestly I don't know how Controller players do it there must be some special methods to it I don't know about.
Jesus Christ dude break your sentences up with periods. Nobody's going to read a paragraph-long run-on sentence.
thats. totally. fine. fren.
...I often 360 in killers hits.. XD
It's annoying
Another example of auto-aim assisting the wrong team XD
I just find it such a corny strategy. I get it, I mean if it works it works, but it's just another reason why I find chasing in this game to be so tedious. Run after someone who's using subtle hack Sprint Burst, juke left and right fifteen times because they're pinballing between jungle gyms, and then just "miss" them from three feet away anyway because their mouse movement is faster than can be properly observed within the horse blinders that are attached to the killer's eyes.
I'm not saying it should be removed or changed or whatever. I can live with it, I main survivor and I know that sometimes the spin works, sometimes it doesn't. To me the issue isn't necessarily the mechanic so much as the principle. This was originally released as a sort of horror stealth game, now it's all about party tricks and athletic exhibitions.
The best way I've found to counter it is to swipe wide with the camera when I take my shot, as this seems to widen the hitbox. I also like to bait the players who just stare back at me over their shoulders the whole time by making a sudden wiggle which usually tricks them into making their move early. Or I just swing a little early altogether.
So again, I'm not going to be leading the charge to remove it or anything, but it's just an annoyance. "Here we go again, it's not enough that I've caught up to the person, now I have to do the "mindgame" crap to land my hit. So exciting, I guess.
