I think Survivors should be first person as well...
I'm just wondering why only the killer is first person and survivors have 3rd person swivial cams? It would make perks like Premonition less like a radar and more of a look item. Just what I think... not to much of a rant... I'm just sick of people using it as radar by spinning their camura till it procs.

Well even in first person people would just spin in a circle for premonition. But I do think survivors in first person would interesting

Survivors are 3rd Person, because it help much better to hide. Otherwise they werent able to see where the Killer is and they couldnt hide.

No. It's there for balancing reasons. That is literally the only thing that is good about survivors.

Great idea, nerf survivors even more.

in fact lets just make all maps a 16x16m box with no way out and the only things in it is a set of basement hooks + spawn points for the survivors/killer

No. Survivors should definitely get third person view. If anything, they might actually need a slightly greater FoV.

How would you have to wonder about that? Could you imagine survivor being in first person and never being able to see the killer to the side and behind them? Looking around while youre repairing or sabotaging or saving? The killer can have tunnel vision because hes not keeping his eye out for danger--he is the danger.

They need 3rd person because without it they would be handicapped and crippled even more so than the devs want them to be already.

And your reason for saying this is because of a perk that is being used the exact way its supposed to be used in 3rd person? lol Killers say the darndest things.

have you ever played as a survivor ?

Survivors in first person would have very little chance because you need to look around expecially when you're being chased.

Also what happens when you're working on a gen? You just have a face full of generator?

When you open the exit gate you can't look behind to see if the killer is coming.

When someone is hook camped it's very hard to find where the killer is without being spotted.

And it goes on and on and on.

Because they have to be able, to look around corners without getting seen. It surely would be more scary, to play as survivor then, but also nearly impossible to survive.

Yeah and make survivors start with missing limbs or head? MLG

I have a level 42 Jake I play often... I wouldn't mind zooming into first person as I do tasks... kinda representing you focusing on the task at hand. Zoom out to third person while moving...

I would certainly play a gamemode like that - when survivors are first-person, and need to actually stop repairing generator in order to look around. Also i would remove heartbeat aura, changing it with increased killer movement sounds (personal for each of them), and also would add a lot more obstacles to the map, to make it look like a maze, with very little open ground. Also i would remove killers breath to allow him make an ambushes in that maze. An, after all, i would make fully indoor maps like school, hospital, small village with lots of houses, etc. Sadly, this already would be different game, much better then dbd.
