Increase the distance between hooks
It's basically ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ impossible to wiggle free when the killer has a hook within what's basically a 3 foot radius, no matter where I seem to be, there's always a hook right around the corner

Killers kinda need these hooks that are quite close together when Jakes are about. But as a survivor, I can understand how frustrating this is especially when the killer has Iron Grasp.

I think maybe more hooks should spawn when someone with Saboteur is in the game, but less when nobody has Saboteur. And about the tool kits...

There is so much to do to this game to make it feel balanced for everyone, but no matter what is taken away or added, someone will always be complaining.

If you read it correctly, you would have realized I have a problem with the distance between the hooks, not being hooked, quit cherrypicking for an argument that doesn't exist

The DISTANCE
my god
D I S T A N C E
What don't you understand about those 8 letters?
Having a hook be basically around the corner has nothing to do with how I feel about being hooked
I don't mind being hooked, it's pretty good since most of the time killers will camp me, instead of being useful

It's just when a hook is sabotaged or already being used, there's another one just within walking distance, which seems pretty gay to me

The tried and true excuse to run and hide behind when you don't want to address the topic.

'Just don't get caught'

"pretty gay to me"

what are you 10?

you got caught and a hook was close enough cause the killer got some lucky placement

please stop talking about it like its a problem

I hate to point out that you're failing to understand OP's argument. But I'm happily willing to help you understand.

OP is not complaining about the distance between the downed survivor and the hook, that's just tough and that happens, OP and you understand this.

However, OP is complaining about distance between one hook and another hook. No matter where you're downed, the chances of you wiggling away is close to impossible because hooks are so close together in many maps.

It has nothing to do with being salty about being hooked, if the killer catches you, you should expect to be hooked. But the hook placements are a little unfair on most maps.

the wiggle is less for a chance to escape and more to stop killer cross mapping with you to basement or just never puting you down.

Also
There is no "lucky placement" go to one hook, look around, and see how many other hooks are relatively close, as chickens stated above, I have no reason to be salty over being hooked, just how close the hooks are

You are not supposed to wiggle by yourself - your teammates should distract killer while carrying.
There is a small chace of escape from the hook or while carrying by yourself - but it should be the same % for both situation. Higher chance only with help of the other players.

Are we really now talking about hooks being present on the map?
Same hooks that usually dont exist after 2 minutes due to sabotage locust swarms?

Like I said in one of prevous topics, until devs switch killer's weapon for rubber chicken, put a fluorescent vest on them and make killers take survivors to fancy restaurant, there will be no end to this. :D

lol and what are your team mates going to do exactly? shine a flashlight? yeah good luck with that, irritate the killer while he's carrying ya? Maybe through the power of friendship they can get him to drop you? What game are YOU playing? Unless you're hardcore sabotaging hooks the entire match, or your team has been doing so, the wiggle mechanic is pretty worthless. Even when the former is true, iron grasp will probably make sure you end up in the basement anyway, sabotaging in most cases is just for making some extra bp.
