ESP Hacking

So I really do enjoy the game - bought it a week ago and I have a lot of fun. I am just now starting to get good at juking/mind games/sab etc, and have hit level 20. However, I can't rank up. I am the top scorer in nearly every game, and often times I am the last and sole survivor. But at this point, nearly one in three of the games I play, I face a ESP hacker. Sometimes with prior vac bans, others without. They b line to every players exact position. The mechanics of ranking up need to be adjusted to fix the "douche bag hacker" element. The game pulls in favor of survivor, but not enough for me to eek ahead. Every time I hit rank 19, beyond the normal bad teammate games, I have to deal with a substantial amount of hackers.

Please devs, be ACTIVE in banning (perma) those that use ESP hacks, its rampant.

Sounds like just some bad luck dude. In over 200 hours I've only seen 2 wallhackers, and both received a "game ban" the following day. They are out there and it sucks, but the anti-cheat is working, at least somewhat.

Yeah i figured it was just reaally bad luck on finding servers for me, I really cant imagine its that high for everyone. I don't call hacks when I lose or even get mad, its fun either way. So when I say 1/3 is 100% wall hacking I really mean that (at least in my experience). They don't even hide it they just b-line across the map right to where you've been dead hidden/no crows/no movement nothing for each and every teammate. I been watching a lot of sxyhxy and even last night he had two games like that back to back. But at least that was at max rank so it makes sense

I'd start recording the games because some people claim hacks and learn later that it was just perks or luck.. but obvious hackers are just obvious and if you record him finding you in a random spot that you left no tracks.. no crows.. and check his perks out at end of game to see if that was the issue then you should have some solid proof.

This is what I'm going to do once I start running into them,.. but I'm a bad survivor so I have more to worry about than that atm

Devs and mods have no control over bans. There is a pinned thread (link below) with the procedure for reporting hackers. ESP and others of that nature will get caught by the anti-cheat system EAC. They dont' insta ban, they ban in waves.

Awesome. I will start to record them now. A lot of times they will have ONE perk (like anti-wiggle) etc, no deerhunter or anything.

A quick search on youtube and 5 different channels are "selling" hacks for DBD.

I've had a few of those against me, who was OBVIOUSLY hacking. I mean - I actually had a game (one of the first) where the hacker literally spawned besides us and took us all down to his basement within 1 minute. Others are more subtle and tries to hide it.

But I do think that devs will put VAC into the game, for insta bans

You need to play seflishly and focus on getting only objective/survival victories until you hit 16. Then you can start putting effort into helping your teamates. Make sure you skip any q's with level 1-5 rank 20s. One might be ok but no more then that.
