If so, yes, that map is unbalanced for survivors, it strongly favors killers.
Devs admitted it, we will surely see some changes to it too.
Well, according to my experience, a lot of survivors burn autohaven plates to get one of these maps... Basically every single round I have started yesterday, had autohaven offering burnt, lol.
Dunno how it looks on survivor's side (what killers usually burn), but I don't even bother anymore with offerings (I need to burn tons of BPs on Trapper to get his teachable Brutal Strength first...).
Suffocation Pit is pretty bad too, even with an infinite.
Ironworks and Coal tower are okay.
Shelter woods does need some pellets buff no doubt
I love playing on woods, as long as the killer isn't pulling the usual laggy connection ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it leads to a much more fun game
When you don't use the infinite, Suffocation Pit is very difficult (IMO, not saying you use it 😀). Not a whole lot of pallets/juke Windows.
I'd rather play suffocation 10x's over than play Shelter Woods though haha
The part of the map that doesn't have the juke building has a ton of those small rooms with windows/walls that break line of sight, that said you shouldn't ignore the juke building if you're a survivor and being chased near it just because some people abuse some spots doesn't mean they don't have legitimate uses, most killers will expect you to try and "infinite" them so you can juke by taking a right turn when they expect a left turn and hide behind something else and 9 times out of 10 the killer will continue around where the "infinite" juker would go
So true! I can't tell you how many times I've juked the killer because he assumed I was heading to an infinite 😋.
I will USE "infinities," but I don't use them indefinitely. If anything they're great for creating distance between you and the killer.
I hope with their removal, the maps will be reworked. Ideally the removal of infinities + map reworks = a nice balance of hide/seek between survivor and killer.
All I wanted to know is if that particular map really needs some editing or if I am just too bad to escape through endless trees.
It seems like the majority of players here agrees with me that there's something wrong with the map, so the topic question is solved and can be answered as "YES!"

Autohaven is a HillBilly's worst nightmare, but they deal with it well enough.
As a survivor if you need to rely on pallets/cheese then you're doing it wrong. Gotta be stealthy and switch up the game plan on certain maps.
If you spent 1 minute of reading the topic you'd see I am referring to Shelter Woods which has NEXT TO NO OBSTACLES!
So unless you break line of sight between trees which is also hard due to their distance to each other, you can't lose the killers, and you can't slow him down since there are no pallets!
Please, if you're trying to provoke and be an ignorant brat, do it somewhere else!
