No. It's a good way for killers to find people. What's really annoying is a skill check as soon as you decide to stop working on a generator so it automatically blows up in your face. That's just total BS.

There is an audio cue that plays RIGHT before a skill check comes up. I've gotten perfect skill checks several times in a row. It isn't hard.

Open your ears and work on your reactions.

agreed sometimes i stop to run because i hear the heart beat just as a skill check starts and it gives me away.
