What does this icon mean?

For the survivors, above your name is an icon. The one that confuses me is the image of a skull.. it's not the same as someone who has been sacrificed, it's just a skull. I thought it might be dc'd, but I've seen an icon of a broken cable, so I know that's probably dc'd.. the only thing I can think of is rage quitting??

Well one is for Alt F4 and the other one is for task manager i guess.. anyway still rage quitting in most of the cases.

I do not pay so much attention to these , dead is dead to me but:

You can die without being sacrificed, by bleeding out for example.

To answer the OP's question the skull means in most all cases they quit the match. It appears if you kill them by your own hand using a mori or if they bleed out, if those two didn't happen it's a rage quit.

The plug means his mom got the wire.

So the plain skull doesn't necessarily mean they rage quitted? They probably just died of different means?

Ein is right its when ethier the killer just kills you (He can use offerings to kill downed survivors) or you bleed out when you're downed. The scream face is when there sacrificed. AKA killed on hook.

Killer can use an offering that allows him to finish one or even all downed survivors.

Wrong. It is the icon for sacraficed player. There is a normal skull for "dead by other means"

Even if you get killed without being hooked you ll get the same icon.

Anyway.. i ll not start a war.. but from my killer experience: dead is scream face, escape is the man running, DC is skull and broken cable. Maybe i'm wrong but i'm 99% sure
