I've found it many, many times at the begining of match, but NEVER when i actually could use it(liek if u cri evritiem).
Conditions to use hatch are skeleton key or hatch opens for the last survivor.
So basically you can escape a little earlier.
This wasn't the first time I hatch camped invisible hatches either. Just this morning I was hiding in the two story building in auto wrecker haven and the hatch wasn't visibly there and I was holding the skeleton key the whole match. Same thing happened where the hatch just magically rises from the floor board after my whole team died. This destroys the purpose of me bringing a key even...
the hatch does not visibly appear until there are 2 generators or less left to do, assuming a typical 4 survivor game.
If you've seen a hatch before completing 3 generators then the map has bugged.
This isn't entirely true either. This afternoon some mates ask me to play KYF and we had 1 genie left to do. We got the Thompson house map and the hatch wasn't visible either, and we were trying to test the skeleton key. It magically appears after 3 people left the map.
I have seen it in multiple occasions, however we are all unaware of the TRUE reasoning behind the trapdoor appears/operate so we should honestly stop trampling each other's findings/investigationing (because we most likly are all correct while talking about cercumstances we aren't aware of) until not only the game comes out of "early access" or "Alpha/Beta" to say how exactly mechanics work for the game or until a DEV comments below \/ (comment plz, we luv u) and actually explains how the trapdoor is meant to work to then have a DEV trample and hook us for our idiotic reasoning and over complicating something that could be a randomize a number of 1,2 or 3
My game closed for some reason and i lost everything :(
