Difference between survivors?

I mean I know each of the survivors has their own special perk and aside from the obvious gender and race, are there any differences in their Bloodwebs? Does one survivor get certain items more frequently than others?

Well the black guy should usually be the first to die says just about any horror movie ever with a black guy. Other than that, perks and appearances are the only difference.

Later on in the games, smart hunters will try and seek out Jakes or Claudettes first, so it still works I reckon.
