I hope this does the trick
Just incase you don't want to swap back and forth between 100% or whichever scale you use
Unless you're fine with 100%, I know that I'm not
Finally, I went to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dead by Daylight and right-clicked on the DeadByDaylight.exe and checked the box 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings'. Now it works! Thanks Tensenuma for sharing this fix
But you're welcome
This disable scaling fix usually works on any game of mine with wonky resolution bugs on my display settings.
Shadow of Mordor was the same exact way
You need to go into "C:\Users\<Login Name>\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor" and edit the file called "GameUserSettings" manually. Add in desired resolution, toggle things like AntiAliasing and/or VSync to True or False then save and close.
Some people have already tried this and came up with no results, saying that it makes no difference... But I found that you must set the file to read-only because the game resets it upon launch. I was able to fix my problem this way, though expect your in-game changes to not actually change anything and reset with each game start until you disable read-only state for the file.
